Recommendation

RECOMMENDED VERBIAGE FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION:

Approve or deny Resolution No. 2015-R89; authorizing the City Manager to enter into and manage a Delegate Agency Agreement for funding of public purpose between the City of Boerne and Boerne Performing Arts.

SUMMARY

At the beginning of each new fiscal year the City Council approves the agreements between the City and an entity that will receive public funds.  In the several past years the City Council has awarded funds through the Hotel/Motel funds to the Boerne Performing Arts.  In this year's budget we have reallocated the funds from the Hotel/Motel Fund to the Parks Fund.  The amount budgeted is for $15,000.  The Boerne Performing Arts is still required to met all the criteria previously established through funding by the Hotel/Motel allocation.
