SUMMARY:
Mr. Preston Streicher has requested the annexation of a portion of his property located on Cascade Caverns Road. We have included the right-of-way of Cascade Caverns Road which is adjacent to the property (attachment 1, 2 and 3 - location map, aerial map, and survey of the property).
The purpose of the annexation is to get the Currey Creek Baptist Church (CCBC) contiguous to the city limits. Then CCBC can also request annexation as they agreed to do in January 2013 when the City Council allowed CCBC and the Daily Bread to extend water to their properties. Following the Church we anticipate the Daily Bread will petition for annexation followed by the owners of the Southglen Subdivision. These procedures are outlined in the Development Agreements we have with the various property owners. We have also provided a Municipal Service Plan for the property (attachment 4).
