SUMMARY

Each fall the Boerne Parks and Recreation Department puts out a guide book for the upcoming year's activities. This book is mailed to all Boerne residents and available for pick up at strategic locations such as the Boerne CVB, Chamber of Commerce, and PHPL.

Staff solicited bids for this service and received three bids from companies for the requested work. Staff received bids from the following companies:

1)                     rgVision Publications (Edinburg $19,240)

2)                     Jet Press (San Antonio $22,485 No online version)

3)                     Matrix (Boerne 26,600 + postage. No online version).

 

The lowest qualified bid was received from rgVision Publications for the amount not to exceed $19,240. This bid includes the creation, publication, and distribution of the guide book as well as the creation of an online version for the web site. The funds for this service are budgeted in the Parks budget for 2015/2016 fiscal year.
